My name is Amina, derived from the word 'Mu'mina', literally meaning 'the Believer'. I have been famously named, after the mother of the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. Since Islam has made me so proud of myself by raising my status, I have adopted the title, 'Amiratul Mu'minat' which means, 'The leader of the (female) Believers'. In this blog, I hope to spread the beautiful message of Islam thereby earning the pleasure of my and your Lord, Allah, glorified be He. In addition, I hope to shed some light on certain issues which are usually misrepresented by the media. I hope you enjoy and benefit from my blog.
